nothing could spoil the show.

Cliff was dire and should give up live singing, Alfie Boe and Lang Lang were WOW, now back to sound turned down.

Tom Jones was excellent he had the whole crowd with him and he can still sing unlike Cliff, btw they are both 72.

Not that impressed with the actual performances of a lot of the acts to be honest and cringed at the "presenters" they were dire. The fireworks and the speech from Prince Charles were a fitting tribute to the Queen.

they were working faster than Hunt can delete a text``

Yea! Cut it out Reg.
You aught to know that in Britain we only do Politics once every 1,826 days. [Once every five years...when 'they' need your vote]
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

With you there Jan
I thought the concert was fantastic. I don't know, when there's nothing going on *they* moan yet when a wonderful event like yestarday is on ..........*they* still moan!!!!
I have loved all the Jubilee events and felt really patriotic along with most of the realm

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

I did not think it was too bad. Not a great fan of Jessie J but my goodness can she sing live!

Many of those appearing are much liked personalities, they are not there for a singing contest, but to take part. Less criticism please !

Love Jessie J live, not keen on her records. It was a fun concert (cliff aside) and Dover actually did well with its 30 plus "crowd" in Market Square. A BBC gentleman informed us that the big telly in Manchester had attracted only 4 people while Norwich had not managed to entice anyone at all.
Dover Castle did a pretty good job on the beacon lighting, even getting it on schedule.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

I thought the concert was pretty good. Of cousre it wasn't perfect but it must be incredibly difficult to put on a concert like that with so many different performers and so many changes.

I had a thoroughly good time even with only a few people attending the big screen showing of the concert, there were still a few very enthusiastic participants who proved the point that it doesn't take many to have a good time. I particularly enjoyed Renee Fleming singing that most famous aria from Madam Butterfly.
