That's a very respectul thing to do Sue - if that was your decision, then very well done to you.
I'm hoping to attend John's funeral if we get back from Canterbury Hospital in time.

It was a massive turnout for this gentlemans funeral

I guessed there would be a good turnout for it, St. Mary's must have been over-flowing.

I am so sorry I couldn't attend John's funeral; Jean has developed Peritonis (again) and is now in Canterbury hospital.
We went over early Friday morning and I eventually came home about 9pm. Slightly more comfortable when I left than when we arrived and some conjecture amongst the medical people (Doctors and surgeons) as to whether she really has Peritonis or something even more serious.

Roger, sorry to hear that I hope the doctors sort things out and Jean makes a speedy recovery.

Best wishes to Jean Roger - I did wonder if all was OK as I didn't see you last night.

Thanks Jan and Barry.
My brother and his wife came in our place, so the tickets weren't wasted (just our money - but it was a good cause)

just spotted that post from roger about jean, both of them have been very unlucky with health matters( rather an understatement) it must be time fortunes changed for the better.
fingers crossed for jean that her stay in the kent and canterbury is a short one.

Give our best to Jean on a speedy recovery and that there is nothing more serious underlying.
Hope you both feel better soon Roger

Thanks Guys.
When I went to see Jean yesterday she was a lot better, the drugs they are giving her must be pretty strong to turn her around so quickly.
The micro-biology people can't grow a culture on the blood taken, which means they can't identify what bacteria it was/is and so don't know how Jean caught Peritonitis.
The Doctors said that if she continues to improve, she can come home today (Sunday).
Once before, she caught this on New Year's Eve and spent the whole of January in KCH so we're both so pleased, she is over the worst - just get stronger and keep taking the drugs.
Thank you once again every one, she does appreciate it.
