Has anyone any knowledge or experience of working at Tilmanstone Salads?

yes many years ago when I wanted a rest from welding,I went there for a forklift driver, they are always after them but I think now you have to have your forklift ticket before you go,but you can always aske first, anyway I done the test ,they also asked if I would do welding as well I told them I was not keen on that, because I was trying to get way from welding at that time, anyway they never got back to me,but they might need help now or in the picking season. It might be better now but the money they were paying was not the best even for semi-skilled or skilled, but as I said that was in the 1980s.Try for the TA if you are not to old.

I was just wondering if its a job with any consistency? Is it possible to work there with full time hours, or is it more 'casual' type work?
Ive had a few people telling me not to bother, but at this point needs must...

when i was there a few years ago, they had full time workers,40 hours a week on rosta.with a few casuals.there are a few well paid full time jobs there, but you will need your own transport to get there and back home.on going training is given.

Phil, if you ring Tilmanstone Salads, they would be able to inform you immediately whether they have available posts on offer, and how to go about it.

Just to add, I found an advertisement for jobs over there through an agency called Red Eagle in Folkestone.
