Hi Kath, it is with us up to and including Saturday. Hopefully they will all do well enough to accept an invitation to come again.

if i can be allowed to make a suggestion here, a stall selling strictly kosher rolex watches for £. 9. 99 would add an extra touch of authenticity to things.

3 reasons to get down to market square today.
a) the market.
b) family day at museum - all free of charge.
c) the replica bronze age boat open day on the roman lawn.

Don't forget today is the last day of the Italian market. Adding to the Mediterranean feel today will be the passengers from the Costa neoRomantica. The passenger contingent will be predominantly Italian, so it really will be like a taste of Italy. A great example of how the town and port can support each other with events, etc.

I spent a couple of hours(and not a few quid!) with my wife Jo in the market yesterday, we both thought it was very good indeed and we both hope that we will see it again next year, our thanks and hearty congrats to all who put this thing together, well done chaps!
I would write more but lunch of stuffed vine leaves, various stuffed olives, cheese and onion bread and white wine is calling, also got some black pasta (stained with cuttlefish ink) which will be the bed on which a seabass cooked with orange and fennel will lie.........must go!
