What are they trying to cover up at Westminster yet again.?
And where are all the 140missing files,?
What kind of humans are leading us?
Why was this not made public years ago?
First it was all the cash they were making on the side.
Then we had them drawing on out of pocket funds that they lied about.
NOW THIS.
When and where is all this going to stop?
And who can we trust anymore?
Is it the church leaders? well it is a no to that'
Is it the Police? again that is a no.
All that will happen now they will sit around a table for weeks costing the tax payer millions of pounds and than put the blame on some one who is dead or tell us all without the missing files they can not act.
Is there no person that can be trusted in high office anymore?
It is not about politics of any party it is all about the very low standard set by the leading members of the UK.
And yet they are all ways telling us the real public how we should act etc.
When they do and act in away that the working class would never do .
Most of us only wish to do a good days work and go home to our wife and family.
I do not know if you agree with me or not but I feel sick about it all.

It is very disappointing Vic I agree, but thank goodness, it is not the majority - of MPs, Senior Civil Servants, Police, Church leaders etc.
No idea how big that minority is, but it's the fact that so many people are doing this awful stuff, is really scary - and quite sickening.

There is a selfishness in modern society that manifests itself worst in those who strive for, and attain, top positions. This selfishness consists partly of the conviction that the rights of others are subordinate to one's own. Disregard for others' rights is at the base of all criminal behaviour.

I think it is a lot more than just disappointing it is a total disgrace..These files have not gone missing just by chance someone in very high office has made the decision, a decision made to cover up abuse and protect people in office whom we should be trusting.
The guilty need to be found out and that includes the person or persons who made the decision to get rid of throe files, he or she is as guilty as those who carry out such horrid acts.

Thank you for your views but what can be done.?
When they are the top members and leaders even judges cannot be trusted anymore .

Roger, if it is a minority then their power is such that a wall of silence has been maintained all these years. The Establishment is still the club where your connections and conduct within it can make or break you as much as your ability and its influence such that I share some of Vic's concerns about being able to achieve a thorough investigation.

Both Leon Brittan and the DPP were given copies of the file By Geoffrey Dickens and nothing was followed up.
The police say that they were never notified either, all decidedly dodgy.

And on the news last night they are going to hold a inquiry infact two into it all.
How many times have they done this in the pass and ends up in a cover up,
But who can be trusted anymore to lead it.?
The person that gets the job should come from overseas outside of the UK.
Or 6members of the Gen public and they pick their own leader.
All so it should be on the TV and members of the public watching should be allowed to phone in and put Questions to the inquiry as well. And after it is all over Action should be taken if needed and the public need to see it is to.

A lot of the establishment are hoping this will all blow over but the public will not be fobbed off this time, attitudes are changing.

You can see why they're trying or did try to cover this up.
If that is a "guest-list" of people involved in the child sex-abuses, they've all got to be investigated - even Cliff.

Apparently there are copies flying around of the missing dossier so inevitably the establishment won't be able to put a lid on this despite the appointment of a judge who's brother served in the cabinet during the eighties.

Just as guilty will be those at the top of the pile who tried and did put a lid on it back in the 80's. That person or persons also need to be brought to account they are as guilty as those that committed the child abuse.

True the ones that done the cover up need to be named to but is this the woman that will find it all out ?I do not think so to near to the ones at the top to name them .

She seems to have been a good fair judge in the past unlike some of her fellow judges with their daft decisions, I am reasonably happy with her selection although I can understand why there are reservations.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Just watched a piece on BBC South East and have even more doubts about her suitability in the role, there was a lot of stuff not put into her report over the Sussex Church of England sex abuse scandal.
I can't get over why they select an 80 year old that has close connections to the era being investigated.
