    Heike,
As a car owner you would be fully aware (if you travel around the clarendon's) of the issues, and i presume if you ever parked in these 2 roads you didnt park partly on the pavement?

Im very interested in any alternative, at the moment I havnt heard of any workable ones, but it would be good if there was one.

So lets go over it briefly again,

1; If all cars were made to park on the road, the road would be to narrow to get the bus through, so the much needed
    bus service would stop.

2; we all agree that the problems have increased over the years because there are more and more cars on the
roads over the years, predicted to become a grid lock in many places in 2022
but more car usage has never seriously been challenged, thus, we are where we are in clarendon today.

3; suggestions to allow parking on just one side of the road, who decides which side can park?and where do all
the other cars go? and whos going to enforce it

4; one way was suggested but really opinion on that divided, and would create traffic speeding along the
    clarendon's.

So at this time with the emergency services saying they wont take the issue om
local councils want a big majority to any change(which isnt the case at mo) so they wont take it on
We are stuck with a problem, that no one at the moment knows how to resolve, but may make suggestions
but not thinking out what will happen should come about.
Im interested in any views from the council, councilllors for the area to see if they have ways forward
but it will need to be thought out,
the last time the council involved itself in an attempt to change clarendon, they made a pigs ear of it lol
