    Certainly, Ray, but then a lot of energy is used to create any modern form of power plant.
    It seems to me the Government has realised nuclear is off the books.
    Yet from somewhere energy has to come, and Kent's coal was no more than an idea that no-one in Parliament takes seriously.

    Coal gasification is an experiment that can't be put into practice. Set a coal field on fire, and the thing could explode and blow up whole towns and cause a massive wave that knocks out more towns along the coast.
