- 4 September 2009 16:3728496It is my birthday in the morning,also my last week at work,I am now 67years old and have worked all my life from the age of about 15years old,never been without a job in all my years,but now my legs and hands have told me along with the wife it is over.I will miss seeing all my mates each day some of us have been working with each other for over 30years, I have loved my work over the years at times it has taken me away from home some times up to a year,but I have had areal good time working and doing unusell work ,worked on the boats, been a milkman, in the army, abingo caller bounter at clubs played in aband and lots more my main work was a welder which took me overseas.Well that is all for now.

Thank you both for that I will still be geting up at 0500hrs so the wife will get a cup of tea at that time,I will find something to do,Howard you might just see me and my soap box more .I am hoping to get a season ticket for the Stoke football cub now my Karen is there. 
They are in 4th place at this time,she has done well there in the time she has been there,COME ON YOU STOKE.

- 5 September 2009 19:2928524Well my birthday has only a few hrs to go one of the things I have got today is Lorraine Sencicle book "Haunted Dover" when I was a town cllr some years ago Lorraine had afew go,s at me I would go so far to say she did and still now does not like me at all, I do not know why because I am avery nice person! anyway I will make that my next book to read looking at the contents it does look avery good book with heading like The lovers of Ghost Hill,Temple Ewell,The Headless Body of William de la Pole,and lots more some of the storys I know very well but others I have not heard of before,so I am looking forward to a good read in bed later on.
