Yes indeed, great news about the continuing sea sports activities
I lunched at the Hythe Bay Seafood Restaurant, Dover, last Tuesday and as always the food was excellent. I was with some friends from Hythe who came to Dover especially to sample the menu there as they usually lunch at the Hythe restaurant. Unfortunately it was a gloomy day, no sunshine but they were very impressed with the Dover restaurant. They had a very good specials menu on offer which was very reasonably priced and there were lots of diners there on the day.
On another tangent I thought I would share with you how appalled they were with the state of the A20 route to Dover. They said it was absolutely littered with rubbish from the tunnel exit to the Aycliffe roundabout. One of my friends parents from Germany had never been to Dover before as they usually drive via the Channel Tunnel to Hythe to visit their Daughter.
It certainly is not a good sight for tourists to see when they are nearing Dover for the first time or indeed anytime for that matter. Of course it is the trucks that are at fault but I do wish that there was some system in place to clear this horrible mess on a frequent basis
