Keith, I do not argue otherwise.
Yet, a week IS a long time in politics and if a tiny number of those 660 or others were to take the recent by-election result to heart...who knows?
It is fairly plain even from the distance I am from all things Dover that Vic's voice is but slight compared to that of the main stream party adherents and I do not doubt that to be heard more effort is given to volume than to coherence, but this is no reason for the electorate to be left with a binary choice at the polls.
At local and national level party politics is way too cosy for the common good and if it falls to Vic to stir things up, so be it. I only hope that he learns to spread the fun around.
