Keith B, with Nigel Farage looming towards UK government, all alarm bells are starting to ring in Scotland.
The majority of Scots want to remain in Union with England, but Nigel is offering Scotland far less representation if he got to the helm. He wants to reverse the Scottish Parliament to some extent and oblige Members of the Scottish Parliament to travel to Westminster to do their work.
The Scots have never asked England for a bag of money, so this is a red herring from Nigel Farage.
Scotland contributes to the British Treasury far more than is returned to Scotland.
Scottish North Sea oil and gas prevented Britain from going into sheer bankruptcy back in the 70s.
I am often thoughtful towards UKIP, but I won't get dragged into a Pub brawl a-la-Farage against Scotland!

UKIP was supposed to campaign against the European Union, not the British Union.
No Union party would ever adopt an "us and them" approach between England and Scotland.
If Nigel is British, he would stand up and speak to the Scots as a Brit, and not as an Englander from Across the Wall.
