We have not heard about Colin for a few days, any news please.
I think we need to give Colin some space, and if he reads this, hugs and warm thoughts to you Colin. X

Still very poorly Vic. I text Colin last week but got no answer so I phoned yesterday & his wife his wife Ann answered. We had quite a conversation & she explained that Colin is getting very tired now. She also popped in the pub fleetingly yesterday to give me an update and told me to tell you all the situation. He has got the Macmillan nurses coming out to him so he's as comfortable as he can be. Not really sure what to say from here but I'll keep you updated.
I know a million ways to always pick the wrong thing to say

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I am not at all sure that he (Colin) and I ever came across one another, but given the sad news in another thread I would just like to say how heartening it is that you all managed to contact him with your well-wishes and that he knew of your concern for him.
This is yet another mark of community that typifies this forum and the people of the Dover district and makes me feel truly privileged to be a small part of it.
Well done each.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.
Seconded.
