Bikers are also known for Remembrance, hence the many we used to see at Wootton Bassett.
There's also the three-nations Allied Memorial Remembrance Ride. That was in July - we had the pleasure to be at Madingley, Cambridge, where there's an American war cemetery, for the UK Ride. There's a report in our next e-newsletter, due out the end of this month - there were over 500 bikes there and they seemed to be coming along the road forever!
The Ride to the Wall is coming up on 1 October. This will be starting from seven different points and will meet at the Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. There's a Riders' branch of the British Legion, and you'll certainly see a bike at memorial events in Dover.
