There was 7 people planting the hedge plants at Whitfield recreation ground if you include me and Paul Sampson. 12 different native tree species were planted to add colour and variety to the existing hedge, to make it look more attractive for people, but also to improve the hedgerow for wildlife by improving the shelter and food plants available. This project is part of the Whitfield Project - Adult Education-Family Activities provided by WCCP, DDC and the hedge planting in partnership with Whitfield Parish Council.
