  Alexander, I don't understand some of what you're going on about but the bits I don't understand confirm my point - there are so many mechanisms involved in atmospheric temperatures, all feeding back onto each other in positive and negative ways that we don't yet fully understand, and such a long history of wider variations in the past than we are seeing now, that to say it is all down to man-made activities is not on.
  
  re the cladding, that's a perfect way to cause condensation and rising damp problems!
