  Ok so following on from my last post, we know patient safety was compromised at Buckland Medical Centre and that they had been left with no manager. We also know that the absent manager had very quietly taken over the daily running of the Peter Street Surgery. But why?
  Peter Street was rated as ‘good’ by CQC inspectors under [name removed] leadership.
  Manager that are successful and doing well may at times move on, but [name removed] incredibly stood down and continued to practice as a G.P only, still at Peter Street. His vacated position was filled by the Buckland Centres manager which compromised patient safety there.
  None of it makes any sense at all. right?.
  Well here’s the heads up of behind the scenes main points that bring the events into some focus.
  A patient exercised his legal rights and made an access request for a copy of his medical records following much concern for his wellbeing by friends. Peter Street had to release the records.
  [name removed] was aware he had been the primary care provider to the patient, he was also aware the records exposed fully gross misconduct and criminal abuses he had committed against the patient.
  Certain of a complaint being imminent, a manager had to be available to address the complaint, but this manager could not be [name removed] for the simple reason that he has no possible defence to justify his actions.
  Up steps the manager of Buckland which allowed [name removed] to stand down and take cover practicing only as a G.P, all managerial obligations removed from his shoulders.
  The Buckland manager at that point became an accessory to assist [name removed] in evading justice and avoid the impossible burden of addressing the complaint.
  The safety of Buckland patients was compromised so the manager could engage in committing criminal acts.
  The crimes and abuses that both managers have gone on to commit against the patient are deplorable, inhumane, and criminal, for which both deserve to face incarceration.
