The ould geezer above could certainly frighten the horses..yes its Methuselah himself one PaulB!!

fortunately there werent any horses about in the Kittiwake.
The shot only saved by the presence of delectable doctor-in-waiting daughter BrionyB on a flying visit for the non-stratospheric occasion!
But looking around for something to do we decided to try the all new paint still wet Kittiwake, and on a dismal damp tuesday night was expecting it to be near empty. But not a bit of it. The place was bursting at the seams, in fact they had trouble fitting us in so popular was it. Quite a shocker for a rainy night in Georgia or even a rainy tuesday in Dover.
It is amazing how popular these places are nowadays...likewise the Toby Carvery's and so on and all in similar vein. Big business rather than small enterprise scores here, as these kinds of establishments need very large investments to get going, but once they do it's a license to print money. At least it appears to be so..for the immediately forseable future anyway, until perhaps the next fashion comes along. Prices are relatively low.

Many thanks to all for the birthday wishes...hope Jeane's hangover is mending.
