    If you are referring to the likes of Amazon etc they have UK registered subsidiaries, they then use a set of complex UK & European accountancy rules relating to things like management fees, licensing fees etc to ensure the minimum profit is shown in those countries with higher tax rates and declare their profit and pay their corporation tax in places like Luxembourg or Ireland.

    Not that that is actually what the "story" in the Daily Wail was actually about but as I said why let facts get in the way of a scare story.

    As for me, not that is is any of your business, I run my own small business from Dover that is registered in the UK and pay my corporation and income tax appropriately.
