My next door neighbours call their front garden a wild flower garden with old chairs, broken crockery and other assorted ramshackle ornaments all mixed in together with long grass and a large dead tree, sadly I have not noticed the wild flowers.

Agreed Carole, I hate the stuff, just when you think it is all gone a couple of weeks later it appears again. We are fighting a loosing battle at the moment with the stuff encroaching from my neighbours 'wild life' garden.
The best solution is keep on digging the area and removing every bit of root you see however small or painting the stuff with a systemic weed killer.
