The big day has arrived, play off final day V Ebbsfleet, a huge game for the club with no doubt spin offs for the Town. If we win then we go in to a National league against the likes of Bristol Rovers Torquay Wrexham etc and they will be bringing plenty of fans with them on match day and maybe the night before. Biggest game in Kent for a long time and our biggest one for many years, COME ON YOU WHITES.

Promotion would indeed be good for Dover's economy Martin.
The rain band is promised to clear through so hopefully the weather will not be to bad. I advise anyone planning to catch the High Speed that it will be full of Whites fans off to Ebbsfleet. As will the 17.24 and 17.31 from Ebbsfleet this evening (assuming no extra time).

Listened to the second half on the radio, plenty of nail biting and I don't even support them.
great news for the town as well as the loyal supporters.

Come to think of it David, yes!
Almost as good as when Whitfield won the Burton Cup in 1975...

does the team think that a civic reception would be in order for the team?
nothing over the top but a glass of wine, sausage rolls and those bits of cheese and pineapple on tooth picks at the town council offices with the mayor in full regalia.
the players and manager deserve a bit of recognition for putting dover in a good light.

It was one nil Alec, a Nathan Elder header. A fantastic achievement, a long time since I have got that wet at a football match as Dover fans were given the uncovered area of the ground but it could not spoil a great day for Dover.
