OK Vic so if the entrance fee had not gone up just who would have to put in the short fall. Players want more for playing in a higher league, travel costs will be a lot higher etc etc.
We will want several new players who the club will have to pay good wages to get and there are very few who are good enough that live local so the club have to pay their travel costs to come down to Dover on top of their wage. I also think the minimum entrance set by the Conference is £15 so if that is correct the club have done the best they can, we the supporters can not have it all, if we want a higher league with better players then the money has to be found.
Trying popping up to the ground and you will see a lot of work going on such as painting, broken seats being replaced, reseeding of the pitch and treating it. Certainly work that costs thousands where do you think all that money comes from and you go on about a £2 increase.
So you see Vic keeping it at £12 or £13 would mean we could not afford better players to give you the wins to keep "The I only support a winning team" fans like you attending, and that my friend is financial reality.
