Keith, a recent study done by Labour MPs has shown that since the new Government got in, 89% of jobs in Britain have gone to immigrants. It was big in the press a few months ago.
One could suggest that Jacqui's friend try London Fancy Box Factory or Tilmanstone Salads, but to the best of my knowledge, these two employers employ almost exclusively immigrants.
When I went last year to Folkestone to a job agency, J&J, everyone in there except myself and the people working there, was an immigrant, all speaking any language other than English.
A person who worked in one Dover factory, of which I won't give the name, told me first hand that the only two English people working there (apart from herself and the head staff) walked out saying f...*, and, "we're not going to put up with that!", because no-one else spoke a word of English, and the head staff only spoke in monosillables to the workers, with one-word commands and pointing there finger at the person theey meant.
It's a fact, Keith, that in most British factories where £6 an hour jobs are going, English is not spoken! English people generally can't work in many of these factories, either because they can't speak the "right" language, or
because the employer simply won't accept them.
Many such employers go exclusively for groups of people from one or two eastern European countries, out of principle.
But they won't tell you that, which is why you don't know, Keith
