    I don’t disagree with you Bob. Deal is an expensive ego trip & overstaffed. Old days of Charter Trustees with a Mayor was adequate. Cinque Port responsibilities & few staff .

    My experiences with local parishes was different, I believe they are value for money & more accountable to locals who tend to participate.
