STate Aided Trade-Initiative Composting (STATIC)
You cut down what was once thriving, leave to rot, turn it over periodically, and dig-in.
"With internet shopping and out-of-town centres here to stay, they must offer something new if they are to entice visitors back."
All well and good for Royal Mail (sell-off?), all well and good for Supermarkets (tax dodges, car and petrol sales, ruination of the countryside and the syphoning of cash from the local economy). 'They'x2 ? We are left to infer that High Streets and Town/City centres are implied, 'visitors'? & 'back'? So, not shops and shopping as we know it.
Might we have suggestions as to what this, "something new" could be?
