Also a stray duck paid a visit to the garden a few weeks ago:

28 August 2025 19:56387372Whilst tidying up the garden recently I thought that I had found a damaged football; it turned out to be a giant Puffball mushroom. It was in good condition and I was told that they are delicious to eat by a woodland expert but I decided to pass on that!
2 days later I found another one which was brown and dusty amongst the ferns.
They must have arrived in compost or bird droppings I suspect
