    Nations have a perfect right to defend themselves and their interests against aggressors and these are usually totalitarian states who start them. WW2, Korea, The Falklands, the first Gulf War - all in response to totalitarian invasions.

    You cannot give the EU any credit for peace in Europe. That credit belongs entirely to NATO. If anything the next European War will emerge because of the EU and its controlling bullying tendencies. Democracy is a stranger to the EU. Democracy is fine as long as the great unwashed vote the way the European masters want. Give the wrong answer then you peasants must go and vote again until you give the right pro-EU answer. European integration has been driven by deceit and lies right from the start as power is gathered in Brussels.
