ALL POSTS ARE MY OWN PERSONAL VIEWS - 28 November 2010 17:3382130the service offered by dover kent carrier seems to be the one to go for £.5 per year and a small charge with any companion paying full fare.
the only slight drawback i can see is that a journey has to be booked at least a day in advance.
to my mind the service offered by the dover district volunteering cannot compete, a round trip to hospitals in margate and ashford
would cost around 20 quid and the driver can only wait 2 hours.
