Ah nice one of Bob, a chap after me own heart. That could be an early Norton he is sitting on but it looks small though, perhaps a Francis Barnet..anyone remember them? They were nearly all British bikes in those days, with one or two exceptions, before the Japanese hit the market running. I used to buy the Motorcycle News. the Motor Cycle...and I remmeber the headlines saying that the Japanese were no threat. Ermmmm..wrong!
I remember the Renault Dauphine too..heavens we're going back a bit.
