Our very own lovable laddie Roger Walkden sends out his Dover Loyalty Scheme mailshots and he did us a favour this week by letting us know via the aforementioned mailings about a very interesting event to be held this thursday at La Salle Verte( formerly the Green Room) We have now booked tickets for same.
I have heard lots about Louise Orfilla but have never either seen her in the flesh or heard her sing. Louise is appearing, singing, and is accompanied by an electric piano this thursday at La Salle Verte, what a wholly imaginative idea to put this on, so a very well done to the organisers.
For £15 you get the performance, a chicken curry dinner(or Chilli or Vegetarian) and a glass of wine to boot. Well..who could resist. I will be there with a few of the gang and will get a picture or two for publication, all being well.
