As above, Phoenix Dolphins sea angling have been in discussion with Foe Fighters, to perform at our next RNLI fundraising event on 20th July, and they have generously agreed to travel up from west susssex for a 90 minute set, also performing will be Dovers own User friendly, and also Ebony Johnson, a major thanks mustgo to all those that entertain people each year, as like the RNLI they do it for free,,,,,,tickets as per norm are £5, with a family ticket available for £10 (2 adults, 2 under 16's), 1/4 of the tickets have been prebooked already since before christmas, and the rest are expected to go once advertising of this event begins in earnest at the end of March, tickets can be prebooked, but are expected to be paid for regardless if the person/s attend the event or not, this years target is to raise over £2,500, bringing our clubs total raised for those deserving guys n girls down at the lifeboat station to over £10,000,

tks howard, and we keep the ticket prices down, as people have not got a lot of money and its a relatively cheap evening out, as proven last yeat when 179 out of 180 people attended

lol @ brian, the phoenix club in Dover, and no its not the clubs event, its the members of the fishing club who reside there, who sort these events for worthy causes, you never know, one day, you might just need those emergency service people

Due to unforseen curcumstances, user friendly have asked to be released from this gig to play a major gig in germany, we of course agreed as they were performing for free and andy from them has lined up Alter Ego to take there place, everything else is the same, Foe Fighters are definately going to be doing a full 2 hour set, still looking for a sponsor and or raffle donations, will be starting to do posters and tickets soon, and raffle prizes will be accepted with a massive thanks

ok, no problems, and thanks,,,,,on the night as per normal there will be a raffle, with various tickets for attractions, and companies, ferry tickets etc, who support this event available, more on this later as prizes become known more
