On a cold dark January night on a bleak Lincolnshire hillside a rumbling was heard in the sky. No, not thunder, but a whirring sound, a droning sound, a sound unfamiliar to local ears. Then in the dead of night.. an almighty bang !! and sparks and bright lights were seen over a wide area...what was it, what could it have been? Locals cowered for shelter under duvets half afraid to find out.
Later, upon investigation, it was found that a giant Wind Turbine had been struck by a mysterious flying object. The Turbine had been struck with such force that one of the giant blades was severed off and another mangled in a ghastly horrible way!..."it was 'orrible!" said one witness, a woman still in her nightie.
Russ Kellett of the Flying Saucer Bureau was called in ( no Im not making it up!) and he immediatly reported that several witnesses had seen "activity in the area!" beforehand. This activity consisted of strange lights hovering in the sky.
When you have hovering lights in the sky on a grand scale..well it can mean only one thing. We are being invaded by flying saucers. So if you thought we had enough problems with the deep deep recession and the hovering prospect of cut off gas supplies, then think again. Pretty soon you could have aliens hovering all over Langdon when our new elegant Turbines go up there. Quite clearly these Turbines are attractive, maybe even sexually attractive, to people from other galaxies.
Welcome to the machine.
