I thought this thread was more or less over for the season, exhausted and fagged out.. but no...a very sleek looking ship has just arrived and here she is. It was obviously running late but I knew something was coming because there was a whole brace of coaches waiting for it since early, including the three local blue double decker tour buses. But the gales in the channel have slowed her down..clearly she was battling down from the fjords or somewhere. The MSC Lirica..all the passengers are on the decks..clambering to get off, to get their feet on dry land...

Wow! these new sizes for the pictures are excellent.
The ship has just done a complete 180 turnround inside the harbour and is reversing in as we write.
