It looks like the September flurry is continuing..just as the guys said in earlier posts. Not tapering off at all..not yet anyway. Today there are two substantial ones in harbour, the Aida Mar and the Crystal Symphony keeping up the splendid momentum of this week. They came in very early, in the dead of night by the looks of it. Already nestling at their prospective slots on the terminal..so no pix as yet.
What i do have is a picture of is the Spirit of Britain which seems to be having more mechanical trouble. Two tugboats were needed to dock her yesterday even though conditions were sunny, benign and calm. She didnt go out again after that...has moved this morning though but whether or not back in service i cant tell.
Here we are...
Not quite remembering terribly clearly but hasnt she had big trouble before...?
picture taken around mid-day or so, tuesday sept 4.
You can just see the tail of the other tugboat around the corner as it were.
