    There is a slowly increasing number of independant cruise passengers who don't go on these expensive cruise day-excursions. I believe the percentage is around 25% indies.

    It's these people we need to work on, to let them know they are very welcome in the Town and at each and every one of our historic sites, museums and attractions. We also of course have to provide them with a Town they will appreciate and enjoy and this is where the Plan of Action for Dover Town and the Tourism Strategy come in - if adopted.
