  Congratulations indeed to them PaulB - whether Irish, English, American, Mexican or where ever they come from.
  
  Swimming the channel one way is a great feat in itself, but two ways, is fantastic.
  
  We were having lunch in the Allotment last week with a lovely couple who have a guest house in Dover and they have swimmers from early July to middle late September.
  
  We got chatting to an Aussie couple in there who were both going to swim in the next couple of days (from when we saw them).
  
  They were staying at the Churchill - had been for a month, so these (all summer long) swimmers do bring a lot of money to local businesses and to Dover as a whole.
