Not really the same, is it?

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't understand the outrage at this, especially if the money hasn't been taken from other local projects/services. The thousands of new homes at Whitfield will need a bus service.

Surely the majority if not all those thousands of new home owners will have cars so will not be in need of the supposedly fast buses. Let those areas that will actually benefit have it, especially as at the moment many who work in London seemingly live in the Deal area.

As Dover Pilot said he money should have gone on improving the existing bus service to and from Whitfield and the station, even providing additional services should they be required.

How many more of these not needed schemes will us tax payers be wasting money on simply because it is there, just because money is available does not mean we have to take it. As for the stupid and dangerous bus lane that must have actually cost money to remove.
