    Very interesting Kath, that's the family alright - thank you. That'll help put names to faces, if catch my drift (and I'm sure you do).

    Emma Smissen and Mabel Bakes are probably the cook and the housemaid.

    Hubert was sadly killed in action in Ypres on the 8th May 1915 and was a Captain in the 1st Yorks and Lancs Regt.

    Interesting that the house was called '...villas' as it implies the Easts renamed it East Lee with their family name.

    I don't want to say too much more at this early juncture, but that is very helpful.
