  Profound stuff Barry-and an accurate description of 'Big Society'-the definition is now colloquial.
  
  Big Society...Big justification ... The name is not important ... it's the spirit that carries it forward. It's nothing to do with the current form of government (whatever damned party)- it's to do with a completely new way of administration-which has got to happen or everything will just turn to Rat's. The producers have now the opportunity to prove their worth by giving their time FOC. Those who refuse to volunteer will just fall by the wayside-those who do will achieve what they want with minimal government interference-and could receive altruistic finance facilities. Fortunes could well be made, but for the right reasons-ie as reward for excellent effort.
  Paradox is just an excuse for inaction-just get your act together and make a difference-don.t worry about the government-they have given us Big Society(just happens to have been the Conservatives). Any government-and they would all be in the same boat -will have been forced to give the people this option(whatever they call it) in the current circumstances-there is not enough cash for anything else. It is not an imposition-it is a right!If you're out of work don't worry just claim benefit and do voluntary work for your favourite cause. Don't and you may well be subjected to stigma. (So what).
