    Well Barry, you know the Tories way better than I. So I bow to your description of them in Government.
    Perhaps we should all take a leaf out of the teenagers' book and ensure that we carry a knife that is bigger than the next guys'.
    OR
    We each should endeavour to pay into the party fund and so become a 'preferred citizen'?
    Far better, it would seem from what you say, that we get the Government that we pay for rather than one we did not vote for.
