    I cannot understand why a system such as operates for boats on the Norfolk Broads cannot be started, whereby if you moor up for the night you have to pay.
    Some nights there have been as many as 60 motor homes parked on the seafront, and an average of 20-30 is usual throughout the summer season. This winter there has often been the odd one parked (they are probably warmer down there than we have been up here in The Gateway!).
    Any money raised could go towards improving the tourism potential of Dover.
