I wish one could get something hot in the way of a drink or food....along the Seafront, without it costing another mortgage
The Seafront is devoid of anything down to earth, fun and ordinary

and the food situation casual, is a joke....not....
The two kiosks are never open............nothing is open...
"The Esplanade on Dover's seafront has been highly commended"
"Commenting on the award, Bob Goldfield, Chief Executive, Port of Dover said: "This is the second award that the Esplanade has won "
These two quotes do not agree..............
"The project brief was to create a modern, attractive new seafront that connected the Eastern and Western Docks"
Well, then, I assume it is not finished them
This is not dig...but this Seafront is not for the public, there are no decent amenities.......Toilets closed all Summer, just where the coaches come in, park and lots of people want a Toilet.....
Also, as I have said above.....no decent commercial enterprises for the General Public................run by individuals.
Also, they have planted Maple Trees a total waste of money, they will ever come into full bloom by the Sea......the Olive Oaks as you come onto the Seafront, by the Yaught Club, planted some years ago are far suitable....and the seats there should not have been taken away...many people enjoyed the shade there....
We get some blistering Sunny days, and there is no amiable shelter by trees anymore.....
