Parked in front of The Riverside Centre are the two minibuses owned by them, both beautifully signwritten to show who owns them and the purpose they are used for. This however has not deterred some low life slashing the tyres on one of them. The incident has been reported to the police but they showed a distinct lack of purpose to view the crime so hopefully the CCTV cameras may be of help.

That is awful and mindless vandalism. Even if the CCTV cameras show the incident will anything come of it unless the culprits are known to the police.

You will be lucky if the CCTV cameras are working Ken,let alone someone watching them.

How disgusting. Let's hope the same consideration is shown to them when they are older

I have to admit I would be tempted to slash their tyres be it bicycle, motor bike or car right now if I found them. I know that is wrong but it would certainly affect the plonker more than any punishment the courts would dish out.

This is utterly disgraceful and showes the mind-set of these brainless and callous scum.
What pleasure, what fun, can there be in doing this; something that helps older people is damaged and costly to repair and all for a minute of "fun".
If they are caught, public ridicule and humiliation should ensue.

It would appear I would be at the head of a very long cue of right minded people to ensure these low life were 'suitably' made aware of there ill judged act.

Presumably the culprits did it to look big and clever. But how can they look big or clever when nobody knows who they are?

F*****g evil hateful cowardly b*stards who do stuff like this. Karma will be there's one day, let's hope. I hope they get caught and punished (fat chance), and hope that the cost of repairs for the good people of the Riverside Centre aren't too draconian.
Cheers,
Andy

What a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and show solidarity, one with another. To show that there is indeed a far better way to behave than to simply take cheap shots at some group with which one does not identify*. Where, oh where, might the youths of today get the idea that any act designed to produce, or sufficient unto producing, a feeling of elation is worth promulgating?
I could be tempted to get a Postal Order and so to chip-in to help. It may well be too little too late, or those around the country with motor insurance shall pay in a roundabout way.
I have edited to replace this phrase *'unidentifiable group'.
