without wishing to alarm anyone of a nervous disposition these desperados are roaming our streets in search of votes. the best advice is to stay at home until may the 2nd - the danger will be gone until at least may 2015.
should you decide to go out do not approach them.

It was good of the cameraman to keep their barrows and brushes out of the picture. I suppose the ones with clip-board and umbrella are supervisors.

It'll be a treat Lesley if they get in.
Nigel is always the supervisor, Charlie is always happy to knock and talk.

Now that depends Howard !
There is a saying "Let the buyer beware" - cars or councillors.

Put a camera up, then, when you see them outside, you can quickly put your "Vote Labour" poster up and frighten them away - I'm sure they'd still put a leaflet through your letter box though.
Roger
PS: he doesn't have a limo to pick him up Martin.

As they have next to nothing to decide re. local finances and economic regeneration, I'd generally ignore their political topics in the street, and tell them they haven't even the guts to answer back at the Cabinet.
I'll leave them an Austerity card with the local unemployment figures and a link to the pay-as-you-go pay day loan address.

They look like a friendly bunch.
I have to say Nigel is such a good guy and I would definitely give him my time at my doorstep, a committed Dovorian.
Purely on a shallow aesthetic outlook, I'm not sure about the jeans, shirt and blazer look. I think that went out at about the same time as coal mining and Eric Clapton's Journeyman album.
In this time of good looking MPs and celebrity dogs, I'm hope this stylistic advice will be helpful.

I'm not bitter with the local Government, they haven't really got much to say, and can't actually change anything, and must go along with everything that comes down by way of directives from the party leaders in Parliament, who decide all laws.
But anyone approaching me in the name of these parties can't expect me to hold a conversation with them as free-thinking people.

for those interested in the sartorial side of the election charlie is sporting today what looks like a barbour jacket, ideal for the up and coming politician and can be worn on grouse moors.
