    if services are being split between dover and folkestone they would presumably still need a police station here.

    a lot of flak flying around today between kent police and the police federation over manning(sorry barry i meant personing).

    the former say that they are putting more officers on the street than ever by moving them from back office work while the federation are of the opinion that it is just changing around officers that are already front line.
