The St James development didn’t add anything to Dover, some shops relocated from the High Street and were never replaced. A revamp of the Town Hall is going to have limited value unless there’s some additional reason to visit the town centre. Seafront is still cut off from the town. Doubtful the “creative quarter “ will deliver in the same way that it has done in Folkestone. Dover has a poor demographic

Looking at the store map I see at least 10 names I don't think were in Dover before?

A good ten minutes or so on The River Dour during Countryfile tonight.
Trout along Barton Path and a kingfisher in Russell Gardens.
Mentions of rats and mink. I'm pretty sure Dover doesn't actually have any mink but am prepared to be convinced otherwise.

Watched it on the look out for people I know.
Will watch the rest only really because of the local content. If the series was about Hull or somewhere else I wouldn't bother.

It was dreadful! Won’t be watching anymore. I haven’t spoken with anyone who had anything positive to say about it.

Excellent, thanks.
(I'd imagined a reality tv with a narrative voice along the lines of...
'Fluffy the sniffer dog and Customs Officer Brenda are inspecting a suitcase leaking dangerous raspberry jam... Over in the lanes, John Piston is angry that a tuggy clipped the off-side wing of the Mk II Cortina he was driving to a classic car show in the Costa del Sol... Meanwhile, an emergency situation has arisen as the Merry Dolphin has run out of Ginsters spicy vegan pasties...')

Production team desperate to make it look exciting but failed on every front.
I did read a funny comment from someone who asked if Dover didn’t have any dental surgeries because they’d never seen so many people with bad teeth

I simply found it boring and will only watch the rest if I have nothing else to do.
