When I think of the number of kids we took off the streets to play football on a Friday night it's sad

So, on the theme of flattened buildings. Is anything like to be done with old leisure centre site before I die?

McDonalds. Probably better as a derelict site.

I have an inkling the Whitfield one may close eventually as the roundabout is seen as inadequate and may be rebuilt.

At least when families are driving through Dover they can justify not taking the kids to the castle with a trip to Maccy D's

Surely if you are driving down the A20 you have a great view of the castle for miles before you would see the proposed McDonald's. I never eat fast food so not particularly keen on the proposed development.

I heard they are going to run a promotion. Buy a big mac and get a free trip on the cable car to the castle.

If there is such a huge need for another McDonalds for all those hungry travellers why not have it inside the dock area not where it will inevitably be gridlocked at times.

McDonalds only contribution to society is mountains of rubbish and fat residents- shut them all down.

The nation would be a lot healthier without access to 24 hour takeaway food of all descriptions.
