Dover 3:0 Braintree. A decent performance from the Whites this afternoon. I'd not even settled down before Braintree had a man red-carded, and didn't see what happened. Worgan (his first game I believe), hardly troubled in the 1st half, made a couple of excellent saves in the 2nd, including one from a penalty. Pavey got the nod over Effiong, and scored our first after a defensive shambles. But even though Braintree never gave up, the result was never in doubt, and Dover might have had a couple more. Braintree are surely doomed, but losses for Maidstone, Aldershot, Havant, Chesterfield and Maidenhead mean Dover, though still only just above the relegation places, are in a much better position after this win.
