Dover Carnival Court @ Sheppey
- 17 August 2008 00:075053Natascha has just returned home from the Sheppey Carnival (23.58pm).She won Miss Rosebud !!!
Mandie will be posting the full results as Natascha is too excited to relate all the prizes they won.But a great big thank you to Mandie,the drivers and everyone involved in todays successful event.Mandie and her girls are putting Dover well and truly on the map.
The DCal girls have been on duty since before 10am this morning attending the Horticultural Show in Pencester(no fee involved) and tomorrow they are over to Folkestone for that towns Carnival.
Come on Dover lets ''give it up ''for the girls.
See I can be quite hip when I want to be for an old fogey that is....

Yesterday we shot down to the Horticultural festival to meet the lovely Gloria Hunniford, and she really was a lovely lady, and then over to Sheppey for their Summer carnival.
Full results as follows
1st Place Senior Queen of Queens
1st place Rosebud Queen
1st Place Junior Princess pairs
2nd place Junior Queen of Queens
2nd Place Senior Court ofthe day
1st place junior fancy dress (former Rosebud Jorja)
The entire court worked their socks off yesterday and I am so proud of them all. I know they are all going to be very tired little bunnies today, but I am sure they will give everyting they have got.

Thankfully the dry weather held out for the parade.
Yet again the DCAL girls proved to be a real hit with the judges.

Next Saturday sees the girls in Aylesham which starts at 3pm.
These young ladies are superb ambasadors for Dover, so if you can get over to cheer them on I know they would appreciate your support.

The girls got home late but very excited especially Natascha with her Trophy for winning Miss Rosebud and Certificate and to cap it all a nice set of Silver Cruets.Well done all the girls I am only sorry that I couldn't make it.
