Hey steady on there Jenni, your a married lady now.
Marek you smooth talking person, such a shame your not over this weekend.
This thread has worked, strolling along the prom this morning a rather nice female asked if I was Ian.
I met Sarah P for the first time along with her husband and a very nice couple they are too.
Cheers people enjoy the rest of your weekend, on to Big D's barbi.

Poor old "Billy no mates"

I spoke to you last week and even took your photo on your "Help for Heroes" stall and afterwards with your old army mate in the 8 Bells.
I have never seen you at beer festivals as I am TT

Alec me old chum, it was not directed at you matey.
Your one of the old hands, the thread was meant for people that attend events, post about it but never introduce themselves.
It's worked once, we'll see if it can happen again.

it remains a mystery to me why some do not introduce themselves to those who have a mug shot on here.
even more so after the photos from the weekend.
must be good to make new friends or even just acquaintances.

Howard, it could be that they prefer to remain anonymous.
I am sure a lot of people have been in or passed by the shop when it has been my shift but only five people have introduced themselves and chatted.

jan
the difference is that your photo cannot be found on here so people that go into your shop would not know who you are.
if you remember you introduced yourself to me because of my forum picture.
next time you are sprinting up and down the grand shaft steps at a western heights weekend i will have my camera ready.

Ian, my spare banjo is available for you to borrow again when you're ready, now that thought should scare people.

Jan, I passed your place yesterday, Tuesday, at 12.15 but you seemed to be very busy so I didn't pop in.

I woild love to introduce myself to fellow members if I knew who they were. A mug shot on here does not really give a good idea of the real thing... I mean look at Marek's old photo - looked like Roy Orbison on a bad day. I still say we should sport discreet badges.
