Disney Cruise Line will be making its maiden call at the Port of Dover on Saturday (12 June). Those members with children might like to take a walk along the Prince of Wales Pier to see Mickey's very own cruise ship, Disney Magic.
It's a big coup for Dover to be welcoming Disney as they embark on their first Northern European itineraries. Of course, Dover is the ideal port for them. After all, we even have our own fairytale castle. Dover - Gateway to the Magic Kingdom!

Re : Typos.......
The head office of AT Mays used to be located at Dockhead Street in Glasgow (still might be, for all I know). One particular dumb bimbo at P&O typed a letter to them, addressed to AT Mays Ltd, Cockhead Street, Glasgow and the error was spotted before it went out. Two days later, our boss received a 'phone call of complaint from AT Mays Ltd who didn't like their address being given as Dickhead Street.
She got a verbal warning!

So Mickey Mouse goes to the divorce lawyer.
After an hour's consultation the lawyer says 'I'm sorry Mr Mouse, but you can't divorce Minnie just on the grounds that she has buck teeth'.
Mickey replies 'No you idiot, I said she's f***ing Goofy'.

So, a Mickey Mouse ship is to visit our Mickey Mouse town, how appropriate!

This is indeed good news for Dover.
I wonder if there will be any Disney bunting in Town, or anything else to say "Welcome to Dover Mickey".
I'm sure some sort of co-ordination between the Cruise Terminal and the Town could be set up, so all the shops/businesses know what ships are coming in and when, plus other activities - perhaps a job for the new Business Support Manager ?
Curiosity of Dover in Cannon Street sell Swarovski Crystal and have lots of Disney characters in stock.
